based on “ SOLAR THERMAL ENERGY “ is successfully worked at
Chh. Shahu Co-OP. Sugar Factory , Maharashtra for 2 years 2006-08.
The R and D work is under
consideration as a pilot plant by MNRE .
Concept :
The R & D work is based on ‘
Evaporation of distillery waste water with the help of solar thermal
energy .The pilot plant capacity was 25 m3/ day .The pilot plant was
tested for 2006 and 2007. The results are around 20-25 % evaporation
is observed.

paper presentation organized by Deccan Sugar Technology in Sept

Based on R & D work done at Chh.
Shahu Sugar Factory , one Technical paper was presented illustrating

m2 to generate hot air @ 80 degree for R & D Pilot plant at
Kagal.

installation of wind data measurement units ( wind mast ) , wind

desired capacity of wind turbine park. Study of different parameter
s like wind turbulence , wind shear which affects performance of
wind turbines . Calculations of estimated power generation and PLF .
